Tata Motors is betting heavily on the revamped Vista and sub-4 metre Manza which are codenamed F4 (Falcon4) and F5 (Falcon5) respectively. We’ve brought you the spyshots of both the products and now we have confirmation from the automaker that the duo will be unveiled on February 3rd. The new cars will subsequently be displayed at the Auto Expo 2014.
The official Facebook pages for the Tata F4 and F5 have come online as a build up for the unveil. The pages give no hint about the cars’ design or technical features. The F4 page suggests that the car targets customers who “love life, live for the moment and yearn for exciting new experiences.” The F5 is for the community which “celebrates epic achievements in design, connectivity and drive that truly raise the bar.” In addition, Tata claims that the F5 (Manza CS) will raise the bar for connectivity.
Based on the previous spyshots, we know that the F4 gets reskinned front and rear fascias along with a significantly improved dashboard design. The F5 makes do with a chopped boot, revised front grille and bumper. We expect the compact sedan to share its dashboard with the F4.
The two new models in question are also likely to be the first to adopt Tata Motors’ all-new Revotron 1.2T turbo petrol motor. The 1.3-litre diesel engine option would continue to be offered.
